I have been so disappointed with this building's management. Loud construction on the building's facade has been going on for most of the year - including weekends. The building said that construction on the weekends would consist only of concrete mixing and other quiet activities; today (Saturday 9/16/17) I spoke with a construction worker on a platform outside my window as he was using a loud power drill. He told me he knew he shouldn't be using the drill, but his boss told him to do so, and he would be done in a few minutes. An hour later, as he used the same loud drill, he told me he was not using a "power drill" since the wireless device was not plugged in. While you might think this represents something outside the building's control if they are using an external contractor, this occurrence represents a typical and frustrating day as a tenant of South Park Towers. The four elevators are sufficient when all work, but it seems as if at least once a week one of the elevators is down for repair. Because of the large number of tenants in the building, including a large proportion of tenants with strollers or pets, very long lines form just to get back home after a long day's work. Sometimes in the morning, I can only board the third time the elevator comes, since the first two times the elevators are packed with tenants as one of the elevators has failed yet again. The list goes on and on - lets both save time and money and for your sake find somewhere else to live!
