Le Pain Quotidien at 2463 Broadway, New York, New York.

This is a good place to spend the day studying with a pot of coffee. The food is ok. The real problem with this place is the inconsistent service. Many of the servers are very nice , but some are inattentive or even rude. The food prices are a little too high for what you get and for the sub-par service.

Also, we were there in the evening one night and they were cleaning in the kitchen which made the whole place smell like bleach. It was very unsettling to have the thick scent of bleach in the air while we were trying to eat and drink coffee.

They recently changed their wifi situation and it seems slower now.

Overall, this is a fine place to have coffee and pastries and sometimes a meal while you are reading or studying. I hope they can improve on some of the service issues in the future.
