La Quinta Inn & Suites Manhattan at 17 West 32nd Street, New York, New York.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! You honestly can't get a better location for a first time trip to Manhattan. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The room was nice. The rooftop bar was sort of cool, and has a great view of the Empire State building. The large Herald Square subway station is right outside the door. The free breakfast is pretty good, but not the best (no waffle maker). Next time I am in Manhattan, I am not even shopping around, just immediately booking here!
