this Duane Reade has engendered a lot of hate it seems, based on reviews on other sites.

i've only had good experiences at this DR. so i think the prior reviews are bs or paranoid delusions

the store seems to be an older store that's been renovated and rearranged. the layout of the store is clear. the store itself is pretty clean and lit well. i have only used this store for convenience goods and it has been A-okay. items are organized well in aisles. sales are decent like at all DR's and the staff is solid at getting you to the various household and personal items sold. never used the pharmacy.

the proximity of this DR to the various movie theaters makes it a great place to load on snacks that are on-sale to sneak them into said theaters. awesome right? yeah i know.

PRO TIP: the various post-holiday candy sales are good. made off like a bandit during East 2017 bc of the crazy deep discounts.
